If you’ve been to Fat Rabbit before, you probably know us for brunch - and yes, we’re keeping it strong during SXSW.
Our brunch menu is designed to fuel long days, late nights, and everything in between. Think elevated comfort food, solid cocktails, and a space where you can actually sit down and regroup before your next event. And with March being prime patio season in Austin, it’s an easy place to slow down for a bit - drink in hand, sun out, no rushing required.

This year, we’re opening up more opportunities for private happy hours, smaller shows, brand meetups, and full or partial buyouts - the kind of gatherings that feel intentional.
A lot of companies choose to make Fat Rabbit a home base during SXSW. Whether that’s an afternoon hang, an evening event, or even a full-day takeover, it’s a more relaxed alternative to pop-ups and hotel lobbies and street-level chaos, and it actually lets people connect. March weather also makes our patio a favorite - especially for afternoon hangs, happy hours, and smaller gatherings that want an outdoor option!
We’re especially open to afternoon-to-evening events (around 3 -11pm), one-day buyouts (including days we’re normally closed), and intimate gatherings that want good food, drinks, and a comfortable space to settle in. We’re also closed on Tuesdays, which makes them an ideal option for full buyouts during SXSW!
☀️Our space is especially well suited for smaller groups - including leadership dinners, C-suite meetings, and gatherings of around 60 people or less.
